A delicious home made afternoon tea, dinner and supper will be served through out the afternoon and evening.

There will be free Gift Packs, Raffles, Challenges and Prizes as well as Demonstrations of new products along with fabulous product for sale. Beginners attending are free to join in a beginners class starting @ 1.30m with Jo Burney.

This is a fun Girls Day Out (thought boys are welcome) and Students 10+ are welcome to book and attend with their parents. Students attending for the full day event must be fully booked and NO bookings will be taken for under 16's unless accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also booked into the event.

Childrens Classes

In order for parents to enjoy the day, we are also offering two Children's classes for 7-12 years of age in the afternoon - Class 1 starts @ 1pm and Class 2 @ 3pm @ cost of $10 per class (Class 1 & Class 2 are two different projects). Children attending both classes will be offered afternoon tea. There are limited spots available for these children's classes and they will be offered to parents attending the Scrapbooking Day first. Children's classes finish at 4.45pm and all children must be collected by a parent to return home.

So I think that gives you a good picture regarding what a fantastic day we will be having....if you are a paper crafter we would love to see you there.

Fancy a Girls Day out scrapping???

Kelly Rotherham and I are organising a scrap day so we can have a great day out scrapbooking and also to raise funds for the primary school that our children attend - Russell Street School here in Palmerston North. So if you fancy a great day out scrapbooking then keep an eye on my blog.

We will be running this on Saturday 21st June at the school starting at 1pm - still working on the pricing but it will be great value and will include an afternoon tea, dinner and supper and a fabulous goodie bag plus a class that I will run.

We are wanting to encourage new and young scrapbookers to start out with this great hobby so will also be running some beginners childrens and adults classes (classes will be run from a separate classroom) so the hall will be free for general scrapping. So if you have always wanted to get into scrapping this is your chance....also great opportunity to come and scrap with your daughter if you want a mother and daughter day out (we plan to have all the classes finish earlier in the day - so the children can finish up and head home so the Mums can scrap on with the other adults if they wish).

Kelly is working with a whole lot of fantastic companies and local stores who will be assisting with the day in general and the goodies bags in particular - full details to be revealed very soon.

Space is limited so if you want to secure yourself a spot you might like to email or phone me (we are in the phone book) to make sure you don't miss out.

Lots more info will be posted here VERY SOON - watch this space!!!!

Lime Tart May Gallery now up

Lots of fantastic eye candy at the Lime Tart Gallery.....the designers have out done themselves this month.
It was my turn to do the step by step project this month and I designed a little Memory Box to store the little love notes that Taylor has given me ever since he was able to write.
The Lime Tart Zest Blog will have instructions for this project up shortly (image below)
Loved playing with the new Sassfrass papers in the May half tart kit....wonderful bright funky colours .....right up my alley.....here are a couple of my layouts......go over to the Gallery to see the rest of the bits and pieces I designed.....amazing how far these kits go.
Loved the girly pink paper and the lovely flowers in this kit.....so another layout of my niece Sophie - "Our Princess"
Layout above is my hubby Bruce at age 6....very few photos of him as a child so they are very precious....the photo was very aged and yellow and this seemed to go wonderfully with the yellow and oranges in the papers.......

Lime Tart May Kit Sneaky Pics

Went to a 3 day scrap camp over ANZAC weekend (thanks for another great camp Jenny) and my May Lime Tart Kit arrived just in time to come along with me. Had a great time catching up with many of the regulars that attend this annual camp at Forest Lakes and met some lovely new faces....including a couple of scrappers from Palmy North (waving to Yvette and Adele). So nice to find some more local scrapper to play with - I hope to scrap with these lovely ladies again at our local monthly scrap night.

So I had plenty of time to play with all the gorgeous goodies that the half kit contained this month. Here are some sneaky pics for you.....full images will be up in the Lime Tart gallery on the 14th and I'll come back and post some here also.

I also got to do the step by step project for the Lime Tart blog this month. So decided to create a memory box to contain all the little love notes that Taylor has given me over the years (I've always tucked them away in my jewellery box but they have always really needed a special place of their own to put them).....come back in a few days and I'll post some pictures of this.
